Visualizing Our Way through Theory Building

Abstract

Visualization is fundamental to how we experience and understand the world. Although we make ample use of visual tools in our role of educators, we tend to overlook the potential use of visualization techniques in our research. In this essay, I illustrate how visualization can be fundamental to analyzing and making sense of qualitative data.
