Abstract
Entrepreneurship education can take advantage of the dynamics within experiential activities to provide students with learning opportunities that transcend the acquisition of cognitive knowledge to include some of the anxiety, excitement, and intentionality associated with a new venture. The MINEFIELD exercise is an experiential learning activity that has been used to teach a wide variety of entrepreneurship students for nearly 10 years. The scenario, probable outcomes, and processing of the activity are discussed.
