Abstract
A joint meeting of ISAGA and NASAGA was held in the United States in July 1990. The conference served as a frame game, in which the participants contributed the content and determined much of the structure. The presentations and peripheral activities were designed to promote as much participant interaction as possible. To promote the use of innovative technology. video and computer equipment were made widely available. Details of the conference design and some of the most interesting activities are described in this article.
