This paper focuses on the development of micromechanical algorithms for shape memory alloy composite materials. The composite cylinders assemblage algorithm was utilized to determine the effective thermomechanical properties of shape memory alloy composites. The mathe matical development based on this micromechanical model was coded and exercised to predict the response of shape memory alloy fiber/elastomer matrix composites to arbitrary mechanical and ther mal loadings.
