Abstract
Putting the patients at the centre of all care processes also means sharing goals and achievements with them. In this context, outcome measurement is fundamental to the evaluation of healthcare provided. The aim of the study was to measure the health gain procured for patients admitted in a solvent ward of a private clinic. A retrospective study was conducted on 137 patients admitted in a private hospital from March 2018 to March 2020. To measure the health gains, we used individual care plans, EQ-5D-5L, Cumulative Illness Rating Scale and quality-adjusted life years (QALY). Statistical analysis was carried out through STATA.
