Abstract
The first of a proposed biannual series of meetings of the national laboratories of Canada, Great Britain and the United States to discuss topics related to the indoor environment took place on 27-29 January 1988. The theme of the first meeting was the practical implications of lighting research. Researchers from the National Research Council Canada, the Building Research Establishment (UK) and the National Bureau of Standards (USA) participated.
