Abstract
The authors describe their collaborative, feminist, participant-action-based projects with groups of Thai women from grassroots, governmental, and non-governmental sectors. We present workshop participants' analysis of the cultural context for HIV-infected women of Thailand, the methodology of empowerment and partnership used for working with the groups, and the action plans developed by the group members themselves during the projects. The projects demonstrate how the philosophy, framework, and particular concepts from The New View can be utilized in a grassroots Thai context.
