Abstract
The diagnosis and management of acute hepatocellular injury continue to pose significant challenges. Clinicians depend on both clinical and laboratory findings, alongside the exclusion of other potential aetiologies, to make a diagnosis. We describe a case of transient marked hepatocellular injury in a phase 1 clinical trial participant exposed to anti-HIV monoclonal antibodies. The trial was registered with the Pan African Clinical Trial Registry (PACTR 201808919297244) on 29 August 2018.
