Abstract
This article deals with David Easton's contribution to political science. Since 1953, when The Political System appeared, Easton has published several well-known books. It is argued that one needs to consider all his works in relation to one another in order to understand his contribution properly. Special emphasis is placed on his recent contribution to the analysis of political structure.
