Abstract
This article traces the evolution of pedigree papers, primarily in Florida. It provides a brief chronology of the federal action and an in-depth analysis of the efforts in Florida up through passage of HB 371, which has not been acted on by the governor of Florida at submission time. Finally, reference is made to other state efforts, including California’s, in the fight against counterfeit and diverted drugs in this country’s supply chain.
