Time is often reflected in a linear, chronological order. It is considered a basic unit of reference for institutions that employ nurses, and it is referred to as nursing time. This article raises a discussion regarding ethical thinking for the meaning of time as glimpsing the moment and its importance for persons’ living quality. Implications for nurse practice and the future of nurse education shall be undertaken.
