Abstract
Comprehensive measurements are presented of the chemical composition and the particle size distribution of filter dusts collected in various industrial scale plants, in one case over an extended period of time. Compared with data published in the literature, the measured variations of concentrations were relatively small. Examination of sieve fractions makes visible the enrichment of certain elements in individual fractions. The findings are of great importance to dust removal in municipal solid waste incineration plants.
