In times of rapid change and uncertainty in many organizations, there is potential for both chaos and creativity. Much depends on the way that the anxiety generated by such instability is managed. Group analysis offers a model for counteracting regressive tendencies which lead to rigidity and chaos, by promoting communication and dialogue, so as to use anxiety as a source of creativity.
