Abstract
Elizabeth Foulkes (this issue, pp. 269-76) has written about the history of the journal Group Analysis. Inextricably, that history is linked to that of the Group-Analytic Society (London), proprietors of the journal and responsible for its finance and editorial policy. Mrs Foulkes has also described the early days of the Society (Foulkes, 1977) and there are accounts too in Pines (1983) and Roberts and Pines (1991). This paper traces some of the Society's activities from the late 1960s. This period corresponds to that of my own involvement with the Society.
