With the integration of later developments in psychoanalytic and scientific thinking, this article aims to enlarge on our previous understanding of internal psychic structure, inter- and intra-generational relationships. It proposes a specific wav through which cross-generational experiences influence not only internal structures but also the mode of thinking and the culture of the next generation.
