The Authors report their personal experience from ten years activity at the kidney transplant center in S. Giovanni Battista Hospital - Turin. 189 male patients, submitted to kidney transplant at least 1 year ago, have been evaluated. The protocol of investigation included: general medical history based on a self-completed questionnaire with special emphasis on sexual history, routine blood chemistry and hormonal profile, doppler study, nocturnal penile tumescence monitoring, sacral evoked potential, intracavernous injection of vasoactive drug. 41.3% of patients showed various degrees of erectile dysfunction. Treatment was according to dysfunction aetiology and gravity.
