Abstract
In 1977, Yoshiaki Omura M.D. discovered the Bi-digital O-Ring Test (BDORT) Further research led to the development of the fundamental BDORT techniques known as the “resonance phenomenon” and “therapeutic effect” .[l]With these methods, Dr. Omura has discovered substances and pathogenic organisms that have a role in chronic disease. [2]Also discovered was the phenomenon of “selective drug uptake enhancement” [3] which lead to several proposed new treatments for chronic disease such as cancer. [4] .BDORT was used experimentally to detect cancer or precancerous states. BDORT use led to proposed new parameters for the presence of cancer state such as measurements of levels of acetylcholine, lead/mercury, viral/bacterial pathogen, thromboxane Oncogene C-phosAB2, Integrin a5pi and cancer telomere.[4,5] BDORT also used to detect tumor markers -e.g. with slides containing quantified Ca-125 (ovarian cancer)and Carcino-embryonic antigen(colon cancer). BDORT proposed asbestos etiology for brain malignancy reported.[6]Western Medical approach to cancer is shifting to chronic disease model.[11]In past 3 decades the BDORT emphasis on the concept of infectious etiology for cancer has been accepted in western medical practice for cancers of the cervix, liver, stomach[7] and pancreas[8], BDORT implied concept of low grade chronic inflammation etiology for cancer echoed in western scientific journal.[9]In western medical practice primary cancer prevention may occur via vaccine, e.g. for HPV/cervical cancer. [10] Current protocols mainly focus on secondary prevention through early detection. [12] BDORT proposes to detect cancer earlier and more efficiently than standard western medical tests. BDORT may be limited by lack of corroboration by standard medical procedure in precancerous and early cancer states, user error and lack of large scale long range studies. Conclusion: Reviews of recent scientific reports continue to demonstrate information that suggests the Bi-Digital O-Ring Test may be proposed as a valid procedure for medical research.
A review of journal articles with examples of corroboration of discoveries using the Bi-Digital ORing Test, with current research from Western Scientific Journals with emphasis on the cancer diseases is presented.
