■ This article explores the reasons why the people of the most terrorized region of Argentina, the Tucumán, elected the General in charge of the terror ization as their governor ten years after the end of dictatorship. The exploration involves the myth of a demonic dog employed by sugar plantation owners to 'dis appear' plantation workers.
