Abstract
This is the preliminary report for the 2006 and 2007 seasons of the EES Minufiyeh Archaeological Survey. It details the continuation of the ground survey started in the first season in 2005, and also reports upon the geophysical and topographic surveys at Quesna and Kom el-ahmar, Minuf, and the drill core survey carried out at selected sites in the province. The 2007 season included exploratory trenches at Quesna, and the report details the findings in both the Ptolemaic and Roman cemetery and the falcon necropolis. The results suggest substantial ancient settlement remains at several sites across the province.
