Abstract
Ethylene acrylic elastomers (AEM) have been widely used in automotive seal, gasket, hose and ducting applications since they were introduced in 1975, but recent changes in engine technology have created many under-bonnet operating environments beyond the capabilities of standard AEM. In response, DuPont has developed Vamac Ultra grades to provide step-change improvements in processability and performance.
