The results of investigating the effect of 3,6,9-triethyl-3,6,9-trimethyl-1,4,7-triperoxonane on the melt flow and organoleptic properties of polypropylene are presented. It is shown that the application of the given peroxide at the extrusion stage makes it possible to synthesise a polymer with controllable impact strength and a reduced content of volatile substances by comparison with other types of peroxide.
