The latest methods – rotation viscometry, IR spectroscopy, NMR spectroscopy, gel permeation chromatography, and the turbidity spectrum method – were used to investigate the structural, rheological, and molecular properties of cellulose nitrate solutions. Results clarified the laws governing the structure formation in medium- and semidilute cellulose nitrate solutions.
