Abstract
This work is devoted to the development of highly effective polymer matrices (binders) based on modified epoxy oligomers for polymer composite materials. The processing, physicochemical, and physicomechanical properties of the developed epoxy composites were investigated, including the dynamic elastic modulus in bend E*, the strength properties (tensile strength, compression strength, shear strength, and bending strength), adhesion at the polymer–substrate boundary, and impact strength. It was shown that the developed composites have higher values of the above-mentioned characteristics than analogous unmodified composites. The developed composites can be used as binders for the production from polymer composite materials of engineering constructions and structures, including design units and elements of future aircraft and their models.
