Positive Impact of Aggressive Factors on the Structure and Properties of Thermoplastic Materials Containing Highly-Disperse Additives of an Inorganic Nature
This article emonstrates the potential for use of mechanochemical, photochemical and radiochemical exposure of typical thermoplastics (PE, PP) with highly-disperse additives of an inorganic nature to alter the structure and improve the physical/mechanical characteristics of composite materials. The action of these aggressive factors on polymers containing such additives, especially in a nano-form, was found to open up new and positive potential for targeted modification of the structure and properties of high-molecular compounds.
