Abstract

The combined Annual Meeting of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists (ACVP) and American Society for Veterinary Clinical Pathology (ASVCP) in Seattle, WA, convenes Saturday, November 16, to Tuesday, November 19, 2024. The meeting will commence with a Welcome Celebration featuring veterinary students’ posters. The 2024 Annual Meeting will address a diverse range of scientific interests within the veterinary pathology community, including Focused Scientific Sessions in Clinical Pathology, Diagnostic Pathology, Experimental Disease, Industrial and Toxicologic Pathology, and Natural Disease. There will also be pre-meeting workshops, a plenary session on Liquid Biopsy in Humans and Veterinary Medicine, and several sessions on special topics. We anticipate large numbers of abstract submissions from institutions around the world.
We have an exciting update for our poster viewing sessions this year. The Exhibit Hall will now be accessible for extended poster viewing from 9:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This will expand the viewing experience and promote meaningful interactions with presenters. The existing poster viewing options during early morning, morning and afternoon breaks, and lunch hour are still available.
Meeting abstracts will be published on the ACVP website and will be added to the permanent searchable archive of Annual Meeting abstracts since 2014. Abstracts will be posted in an “open access” location on the website approximately 1 month before the meeting. The website offers the ability to search each year’s abstract collection by any keyword(s) in the title or body of abstracts.
