A 32 year old male patient underwent surgical treatment of a hemangiopericytoma, located on the left 5th toe. A second patient, a man of 61, had a tumor of the wall of the right cheek, which was treated with Co60-therapy. The authors point out the lack of relationship between histological features and clinical behavior of this type of tumor, as it is impossible to recognize histologically the benign form of the hemangiopericytoma from the malignant one. As a consequence of it, radical dissection of the tumor is always advisable, provided that it does not result in severe mutilation.
