Italian
Basing on three personal cases and literature observations, it is stated that one can speak of Brill-Symmers disease only in those exceptional cases showing an histologically typical and persisting gigantofollicular adenopathy. In many other cases we are dealing with peculiar aspecific aspects of reactive lymphoreticular hyperplasia, which frequently have the meaning of a morphological « symptom » in the course of some tumours of the lymphoreticular organs.
