A 38 years old woman suffering from metrorrhagia and with a uterine growth proved by hysterosalpingography, was submitted to hysterectomy and adnexectomy. A submucous neoformation 2 cm in diameter, with myometrium infiltration, was observed in the uterus. The histological examination of the growth showed areas with aspects of thecoma, rete ovarii and embrionary gonadal strands. No similar cases have been found in the literature. The patient is well, two years after the operation.
