Abstract
Biochemical investigations on the hormonal condition of patients with genital carcinoma showed increatory alterations of quantitative type (folliculostimuating hpergonadotropism, nearly absolute lack of progestative activity) as well as qualitative excretory alterations, which are the expression of metabolism deviations.
Pregnandiol elimination has been studied after progesterone administration in a patient with uterus carcinoma (portio, body); a significant deficiency of the metabolic mechanisms has been observed.
Comparative researches before and after the treatment (surgery and radiotherapy) show that the observed deficiency is not depending upon the presence of the neoplastic forms.
