Abstract
Three cases of « neoplastiform plasmaceli mastitis » (from a review of 300 cases of mammary tumour pathology) are described, pointing out the rare observation of such cases in the Italian literature. The anatomo-clinical picture is illustrated and the characteristic clinical symptomatology is ascribed to the periductal granulomatous process and to the se-cundary sclerosis. The semeiotic and laboratory data which may favour a differential diagnosis are considered and the possibility of a neoplastic evolution of the usuali benign lesion is advanced.
