Abstract
The 1980 Macromarketing Seminar was held at the Alton Jones Conference Center, Uni versity of Rhode Island, August 8-10. Over 40 participants met to discuss the following topic areas: (1) Measurement Development and Systems, (2) Comparative Systems, (3) Economic Development, (4) Usable Knowledge in Macromarketing, (5) Externalities and Constraints, (6) Social Responsibility, and (7) Planning. Abstracts of the papers prepared for the seminar follow. Readers wishing complete copies of the papers should write directly to the authors at their respec tive schools.
