Abstract
This research intentions to evaluate the practice of research data management (RDM) among medical professionals (doctors) in Children Hospital and Institute of Child Health Multan on the performance of health services. In this context, a questionnaire that was developed with the formulation of hypothesis and the literature review was used. Out of the 500 targeted population of the study, a total of 430 respondents correctly filled the questionnaire with an almost 86% response rate. To conduct data analysis using structural equation modeling (SEM), partial least squares-SEM (PLS-SEM) was utilized to validate the modified Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The results revealed that the factors of RDM according to TAM have a substantial influence on the acceptance of research data management practices among health professionals. Hypotheses of the research were validated, and the results revealed that RDM's perceived ease of use, usefulness, behavior, and the skills of health professionals have a positive impact on the performance of the health organization. The practices of research data management are found to enhance health services performance, improve health professional practices, and the organizational development of health organizations.
