Abstract
In business information circles 1984 could go down as the "Year of the Online British Company Directory Database." By December 1984 there will be five such databases all of which have been introduced since September 1983. Four of these databases are discussed in detail in this review and information on the fifth has had to be added as a postscript, such is the fast-growing nature of online business information.
