Abstract
A corporate environment can be an intimidating place for an information professional trained to work in a more conventional library. It is not enough to be excellent at the technical aspects of the job, it is also important to tailor the information offering in a form that is most useful to the organization and demonstrates the value added. Because such organizations tend to be highly politicized, information professionals also need to be constantly marketing and proving their worth to decision makers.
