This case study describes the speech development of a boy (G) between
the ages of 1;7 and 4;0. During this period G was receiving intensive
speech therapy to facilitate his speech development as it was evident that
he had difficulties learning to pronounce. G was given therapy at such
an early age and intensively because his mother is a speech therapist.
Treatment techniques are described in detail. The implications for
speech therapy practice are discussed.
