This study describes a training programme designed to reduce the
frequency of vowel and final consonant prolongations in a pair of
4-year-old identical twin brothers. The goal was accomplished through
the implementation of 11 objectives and a variety of training procedures.
The boys' progress was evaluated by their performances in spontaneous
speech and on a naming task.
