Abstract
Researchers and therapists from many fields have worked intensively on the problem of dyslexia. An almost endless series of publications has resulted from this. But the concepts and hypotheses concerning the question of where the core of the reading difficulties is situated, reveal a multiplicity which comes across as confusing rather than enlightening.
