The ductus arteriosus is rarely used for reconstruction of the aortic arch in neonates. A 2-week-old neonate presented with type A interrupted aortic arch with obstructive supracardiac total anomalous pulmonary venous connection. The ductus arteriosus was used for reconstruction of the aortic arch, and repair of the total anomalous pulmonary venous connection was carried out simultaneously. After 1.5 years of follow-up, there was no ductal narrowing, no gradient in the arch, and a mild gradient across the anastomosis between the common chamber and the left atrium.
