Abstract
Visual narratives: Lotería imagery, photos and stencil(s) are shared as a narrative through which the authors discuss their foundational (epistemological) methodologies and how their work on Funds of Knowledge has developed into what they present as the Funds of Creative Knowledge. Their epistemological approach is presented through scholarship that began with the publication of The Funds of Knowledge in Higher Education book, the origins of the work on La Lotería as Creative Resistance and their professional development collaboration for K-16 educators through the Culturally Responsive Curriculum Development Institute at the University of Arizona. The visual narratives illustrate the authors’ collaboration and the way they continue to welcome students' familial and cultural sources of knowledge and creativity as bridges to future possibilities of scholarship and practice: bridges to Creative Resistance.
