Abstract
This hypotympanotomy retractor is designed for use in procedures that require an inferiorly oriented approach to the middle ear (Fig 1). Its primary value is for posterior ampullary nerve transection, the transcochlear approach to the internal auditory meatus, or glomus tympanicum resection.
