Abstract
Background
High rate of technology and globalization demands that renewable energy firms should establish a robust digital leadership capacity in order to stay afloat and attain sustainability within the organization.
Objective
This study aims to examine the impact of digital leadership (digital competence, digital insights, digital culture, and digital strategy) on organizational sustainability, including its social, environmental, economic, and ethical dimensions, in renewable energy companies.
Methodology
Data were collected using a structured online questionnaire distributed via Google Forms. A total of 220 valid responses were analyzed using SPSS 24 and AMOS.
Findings
These findings show that digital leadership is a strong positive contributor to organizational sustainability both at the overall and dimensional levels. Thus, its importance in improving the sustainability outcomes is critical.
Implications
The study is also narrowed down to Jordan based companies in renewable energy and thus in future research the model needs to be tested in other regions and other industries to have wider validity. It equips the managers with information of applying digital strategies to organizational sustainability and the importance of digital leadership to contribute to ethical practices, environmental consciousness, and sustainable development.
