A total of 164 older people were given a facts on aging quiz to determine level of knowledge, common misconceptions, and aging bias. Results were compared with university undergraduates' scores. Findings indicate the elderly were not as knowledgeable, held similar misconceptions, and were less antiaged in their bias than the students. Within the group of older people, few differences were found, with the exception that males were more antiaged in their bias, as were the "old-old."
