This paper presents a brief description of a technique which can aid administrators of developmental centers and other programs in the process of staff scheduling. The technique which is presented is based on several concepts derived from the Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT). This approach includes procedures for analyzing staff schedules, computing expected activity completion times, and guidelines for the development of more efficient staff work schedules.
