Abstract
The Authoritarian Coup of Donald Trump's second presidency forecasts a deepening of internal neo-colonialism of the Black worker in the United States. This article critiques the political economy of the Black worker from 2015-2025 in order to demonstrate that the Black worker in the U.S. is in a New Nadir and that the Trump regime actively seeks to deepen the Nadir by robbing the working-class grassroots of resources necessary to survive and resist racial oppression. Additionally, this article analyzes the Trump administration's Project 2025 early initiatives to expose their harmful consequences to the lives of workers, a disproportionate number being African American.
