Specimens of Anthonomus (Anthonomocyllus) contaminatus and A. xanthoxyli were captured in two states of Mexico. The first species is a new record for Mexican Republic, and until now it was reported in Brazil, Colombia and Venezuela. The second one specie is a new record for the State of Jalisco.
