Abstract
The results of Shionogi & Co., Ltd.'s survey concerning quality management are described in this paper. The purpose of this survey was to investigate the present state of good laboratory practice (GLP) and quality assurance activity (QA) in Japanese pharmaceutical companies. A total of 35 surveys were faxed and 34 surveys were returned, a 97% response rate. An outline of the results is presented.
