Abstract
The described database is used to record all the activities conducted by Lilly Mont-Saint-Guibert Development Centre's Quality Assurance Unit in order to comply with good laboratory practice (GLP) and good clinical practice (GCP) regulations, and improve quality in the laboratory. Observations and their follow-up are recorded in order to ensure complete resolution of any problems encountered. The system facilitates clerical tasks in order to enable the auditors to spend more time auditing, in discussion with study and laboratory personnel and management, and designing quality improvement actions.
