Abstract
An overview of stress, workers' compensation and the growing impact of stress on workers' compensation claims are presented. An in-depth look at different types of workplace stress injuries, including physical-mental, mental-physical, and mental-mental, are reviewed. In addition, the prevalence of such claims is discussed. Finally, recommendations are made on how to reduce the costs associated with work-related stress claims from a stress reduction perspective and an organizational efficiency perspective.
