This paper is divided into two sections. The first section considers the phenomenon of channelling and other transpersonal experiences and concepts in the light of recent research papers on aspects of quantum physics. In the second section, the author discusses research into the possibility that the human capacity for transpersonal experience may be understood from a developmental perspective.
