The wrinkle recovery angles of five backing fabrics were measured singly and in assembly with a wool-blend suiting fabric. The wrinkle recovery rate of the assemblies was governed by the wool-blend component, whereas the total recovery increased as the wrinkle recovery of the backing increased and was dependent on the fabric component situated inside the axis of the crease.
